MBS College of Crete provides a number of privileges to its students to ensure their continuous development, the support during their studies and the provision of strong career prospects.

Personal Mentor

MBS College of Crete operates a personal guidance system. According to this system, as soon as you register to your program of studies and officially become a student of the College, you will be assigned to your personal tutor-mentor.

A personal mentor is the first person to contact when students face a serious problem or have any queries. Personal mentors also offer academic guidance. They are responsible for the students throughout their studies at the College. The first meeting with your personal mentor takes place at the beginning of the academic year.

It is the responsibility of the personal mentor to provide students with information and guidance concerning their program of studies, professional development and also offer assistance to any personal problems that may arise.

Academic Support Centre

The Academic Support Center helps students improve or develop their skills and abilities in the following aspects (indicatively):

Learning strategies
Time management
Academic writing
IT skills
Team work
Research and citation of sources
Personal development plan

Professional Support Center

MBS College of Crete has always been supportive to its students and alumni in terms of their employability in the job market.

The Professional Support Center offers students and alumni guidance in handling the job market or in continuing their studies at postgraduate or doctorate levels. The portfolio of services includes:

CV and Covering Letter
Preparing for an interview
Further studies (seminars, professional workshops, postgraduate studies, etc.)

Virtual Learning Environment – Moodle

MBS College of Crete has greatly invested in the development of an internet site with added operations and capabilities. By logging on their personal student account on Moodle, students can access and store all the material from lectures and seminars.

Moreover, through this platform they can submit their assignments electronically and receive personal assessment and feedback.

There is also the possibility of direct communication with the professors and the College staff, as well as participation in discussion groups and forums.

Students can also contact their professors and the rest of the staff of the College and participate in group discussions and forums through the platform. The platform is also used for assessment purposes and the daily update of students on issues concerning their programs of studies as well as news and events of the College.

Career Days

All the students and graduates of MBS College of Crete participate in Career Days, an event aiming to relate the job market with graduates and alumni of the College, who come in direct contact with business representatives from all sectors of the market and may be interviewed by potential future employees.

Induction Week

Aiming at the smooth adaptation of students to their new academic environment the first week of each academic year is designated as Induction Week.

During Induction Week, first year students:

Are informed about the needs of their program of studies and receive relevant information material.
Are informed about the offered services.
Meet the academic and administrative staff.
Receive personal details directly related to their academic progress during their studies.

Induction Week is really significant for 1st year students, since they are appropriately prepared to enter a new academic environment and familiarize themselves with fellow students, the administrative and the academic staff of MBS College of Crete.

Free extra Courses / Seminars

MBS College of Crete aiming at the continuous development of knowledge, abilities and skills of its students offers free courses/seminars such as:

International Student Identity Card

MBS College of Crete offers ISIC card to its students.

The ISIC card is recognized in Greece, in Europe and in the rest of the world.
